This year we decided to select an Employee of the Month. During the 1st standup meeting of the month we announce the winner to the company, put their name on a plaque and award them with an extra day of paid time off. There is a serious nomination process each month that consist of a manager/supervisor from each department, the head of HR and the General Manager. Here are the winners for the 1st quarter of 2022:

Michael was our January Employee of the Month. He has shown dedication, dependability, positive attitude, accurate work and requires little supervision. He works in our custom department working with Solid Surface materials to make counter tops for hospitals and schools. He has been a great addition since joining our team last April.

Our February Employee of the Month was Lee. He works in our Machining Department. He also trouble shoot and fixes the machines when they go down. He is probably one of our fastest moving employees and hates to not be busy. He is dependable, reliable and rarely complains. He is one of our biggest recruiters as both of his sons work on the shop floor too.

The Employee of the Month for March was Dirk. He works in our Custom Department fabricating Nursing Stations for hospitals and Receptions Desks for schools. He is very detailed oriented, dedicated worker, and steps up without being asked. He really embraced the Nero Change training that our whole company participated in and demonstrates what he learned on a daily basis.
